Replacement Chains
We'd love to replace your chain however there's a few things to consider so please ensure you read the below so we can provide you the best service.
When choosing options you'll need to specify if your necklace is a floating or fixed style. Floating is where the pendants/bar move on the chain. Fixed is where the pendant or pendant/s are fixed to the necklace chain with 2 holes. Please see photos for an example.
We have 4 chain options to choose from. If you would like us to send the replacement straight out to you and you're replacing your current chain with a different type of chain then please let us know as we may also need to send you new jump rings.
Fixed Necklace Chain Replacement
The most popular chain! This chain can only be chosen for fixed style necklaces and we cannot send this chain out to you as it's slightly more complex to replace.
Fine Floating Chain Replacement
This chain can only be chosen for floating style necklaces. We can send this chain straight out to you however the pendants will likely not slide straight on (unless you have the Soren or Saffron necklace). You can find instructions here for how to add pendants yourself, or you can take to a local watch repairer/mister minute who can add for you. Please be mindful if you choose to have the chain sent out to you this will void any warranty as we cannot be sure if the chain becomes damaged from adding the pendants.
Luna Chain Replacement
Our beautiful beaded chain. This chain can only be chosen for floating style necklaces. We can send this chain straight out to you however the pendants will not slide straight on. You can find instructions here for how to add yourself, or you can take to a local watch repairer/mister minute who can add for you. Please be mindful if you choose to have the chain sent out to you this will void any warranty as we cannot be sure if the chain becomes damaged from adding the pendants.
Rolo Chain Replacement
This is our thickest and strongest option. This chain can be chosen for either floating and fixed style necklaces.
Length
Please note, if you have had your KBN necklace for a little while the links may have stretched over time from small tugs and pulls meaning your current necklace chain may be slightly longer than it originally was. Please keep this in mind when choosing the replacement chain and ensure you have measured to confirm the selected length is suitable.

If multiple pendants it's best to add a note of the pendant order. For example 'pendants in order A, F, T'.
It's advisable to track your item as we cannot be responsible for lost mail.
If a replacement chain is purchased with other items, we will hold your order until we receive the bar/pendant back to make the replacement chain and send your whole order together.

Our jewellery pieces are made from either rose gold/ gold filled metal or sterling silver.
Gold filled metal is the best alternative to solid gold, its quality and longevity is much superior to gold plated/vermeil. To be classed a gold filled piece it must be at least 5% gold in the overall product - in comparison gold vermeil would be less than 1%.

Sterling silver is a high-quality, nickel-free precious metal known for its durability and timeless beauty. One of the great things about sterling silver is that it can easily be polished to restore its original shine, even if it naturally tarnishes over time. Tarnishing can vary from person to person, but it’s easy to manage - simply use the white polish pad provided with your order for a quick refresh, or a silver cleaning solution for a more thorough clean.
If you're purchasing this as a gift, we suggest storing it in an airtight zip-lock bag to protect it from air exposure and maintain its stunning appearance.
NECKLACE LENGTH COMPARISON
Different chain lengths can look and fit so different from person to person. This is why it's so important to measure before you order. Here are two ways you can do this...
Option 1.
Choose a necklace you already own that is a length that you are comfortable with. Measure the full length, including the clasp, and order the option closest to this number.
Option 2.
Get a piece of string and measure it out to a length that you are comfortable with. Measure the full length and order the option that is closest to this number.
Don't forget to add a 2 inch extender to your necklace if you want to be on the safe side.
